I don't just design for the AEC industry. I've worked inside it.

 

Over the course of my career I've held roles as a Project Coordinator, Environmental Technician, Marketing Coordinator, and Office Administrator at firms including Ebasco Services, URS Corporation (now AECOM), Montgomery Watson (now Stantec), HydroScience Engineers, and VIERCO Consulting Engineers before growing into the Visual Communications Specialist role I held for seven years at GEI Consultants, a national environmental and geotechnical engineering firm.

That foundation means I understand how engineering firms communicate, how proposals get built, what project managers need from a designer, and how to translate technically complex content into visuals that resonate with both internal teams and external clients. I've sat in the rooms where the work gets done. That context makes me faster, more accurate, and a better collaborator than a designer coming to AEC from the outside.

Today I specialize in the full range of visual communications that AEC and professional services firms rely on: proposal graphics and business development materials, executive presentations and slide deck templates, branded reports and infographics, social media and digital content, internal communications, and event materials and signage. I'm also a licensed FAA Part 107 drone pilot, which means I can capture aerial project photography and videography in addition to designing the materials that feature it.

I'm based in the Sacramento area and available for full-time, contract, and hybrid engagements.
